How to Measure Accurately Before Ordering
Step 1: Measure the Aluminum Tube Width
⚠️ Measure the aluminum roller tube only. Do not measure bracket-to-bracket, wall-to-wall, or include the motor, end plugs, idler, or end caps.
Measure from metal edge to metal edge of the bare aluminum tube. This width is used to manufacture your custom roller shade fabric. Including hardware will result in an incorrect fit.
Step 2: Measure the Finished Height
Measure the total height you want the fabric to cover. Enter the actual finished height only.
Our calculator automatically adds the additional material required to wrap around the roller tube, so no extra allowance is needed.
Step 3: Use an Imperial Tape Measure
Use a tape measure marked in inches and fractions (1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, etc.).
Select the matching fraction in the calculator to ensure your order is manufactured to the correct size.
