General Questions

In almost every case, just the fabric. If your existing roller system, brackets, and motor (if motorized) still work, replacing only the fabric gives you a like-new shade at a fraction of full replacement cost, and keeps your current mounting in place.

Blackout, solar screen, privacy, and light-filtering and decorative fabrics. In-stock options offer the fastest turnaround and most competitive pricing; if you want a specific material not currently in stock, our in-store catalogs cover hundreds of additional textures, opacities, and colors.

Pricing depends on the shade’s width and height and the fabric you choose. In-stock fabrics are priced for immediate production and are the most cost-effective option. Use our fabric calculator for an instant estimate, or bring your shade dimensions to the shop for an exact quote.

Blackout fully blocks light and outside view, suited to bedrooms and media rooms. Solar screen cuts glare and heat while keeping a view through the fabric, available in different openness factors. Privacy fabric sits in between — blocking sightlines while still allowing daylight through.

Services Info

Yes. We regularly handle commercial fabric replacement for property managers and offices, including multi-shade jobs where fabric and color need to match across units. We support roller-style blinds; we do not service slatted blinds such as venetian or vertical blinds.

Yes. Motors and brackets stay exactly as installed — we remove the old fabric from the tube, fit the new fabric, and remount it, so the existing motor and controls continue working as before.

Whichever is easiest for you — the full roller shade, just the tube with fabric mounted, or just the fabric itself. Pricing applies the same way as long as the item is brought to our shop. Brackets remain installed on-site, since we only replace the fabric, not the bracket hardware.

Our focus is fabric replacement on existing roller-style systems. For customers who need an additional shade alongside a replacement job, we can also produce complete roller shades on request.

Process & Visit

For fabric currently in stock, typical turnaround is 2–3 business days from when you bring in your shade or tube. Custom catalog selections take longer, depending on supplier availability for that specific material.

Where are you located, and do I need an appointment?
We’re based in Navy Yard Brooklyn, NY, with on‑site parking. Visits are by appointment only — local customers can bring their existing roller shade tube so we can replace the fabric on the spot according to the agreed price and specifications.

We have multiple premium catalogs available in-store, with hundreds of materials to compare by texture, opacity, and color. Custom catalog selections may carry different pricing and additional lead time based on supplier availability.
